In a bizarre occurrence, a resident of Chesire who is Stuart
Broad’s neighbor today claimed that Broad is actually a woman. He said no woman
likes being ‘broad’ so that is what must have prompted the decision. Stuart
Broad has played in over a 100 tests and ODIs for the Men’s national cricket
team of England. This is the second such controversy that has rocked the
sporting world after similar allegations were levied on India’s pinki.
Stuart Broad was unavailable for comment. He was spotted in a
Kennington mall, ahead of the England team’s match against West Indies tomorrow
at the Oval. When reporters followed him for questions, he managed to elude
them by apparently hiding in a restroom. It has not been determined yet if he
hid in the men’s room or the women’s room.
We tried to contact the officials of ECB, but none of them were willing to issue a statement until further light was thrown on the matter. Broad however found support from Micheal Vaughan, who defends whatever the English team does. “It is the England Men’s cricket team. Since it is anyways not made up of only English cricketers, why should there be a mandate to have only men in the team”, Vaughan reasoned.

The intelligence wing of SportsKeeda decided to take matters in
their own hands and carried out their own investigation. They dug up
information that Broad has many books related to the American Civil War where
about 600 women soldiers had fought,
disguised as men. They have also pulled up information that Broad had requested
fellow cricketer Monty Panesar to accompany him to watch the Bollywood movie “Dil Bole
Hadippa”. Monty however had refused as he was more keen on watching “Patiala
House”.
Even P Chidambram, The Home Minister of India backed
SportsKeeda’s claim saying, “There was no intelligence
failure. There never is”.It is
also believed that Staurt Broad was especially charged up for the test series
against India in 2011 (he was the Man of the Series) because Indians (Yuvraj)
reminded him of the six ‘sixers’.
